Michael has been practicing in Portland since 1993. His training was broadly based and grounded in neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based treatment approaches that included behavioral, social learning, cognitive, cognitive-behavioral, as well as family systems, strategic, and solution-focused family work. One portion of his practice is conducting strengths-oriented assessments of students (elementary, high school, college or graduate school) with issues related to school performance, behavioral-emotional issues, and medical regimen adherence (diabetes).Another important aspect of his practice is strength-oriented treatment and follow-up. He practices within a Motivational Interviewing adherent framework, and has been trained as a Motivational Interviewing Trainer (MINT-TNT). He is available for treatment or consultation for a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, diabetes discouragement, family conflicts, behavioral issues, and many more.

Antonia has been practicing in Portland since 1985. She assesses elementary, high school, college and graduate students with issues that impact their academic performance, including learning problems and emotional and behavioral adjustments. After completing an assessment, she provides detailed recommendations to parents and students to motivate and initiate change. She makes recommendations to schools and refers to other treatment providers, tutors/coaches, and programs as needed. Additionally, she often prepares documents to help students qualify for extended time on the SAT or GRE exams.
